Q4 2023 Snapshot: Top Simulation/Adventure Android Games in Latin America

Latin America's mobile gaming sector saw significant activity in the Simulation and Adventure categories during the fourth quarter of 2023. Data from Sensor Tower provides a closer look at the performance of the top five Android games in this region.

PK XD: Fun, friends & games from Afterverse Games maintained a strong presence with downloads peaking at nearly 373K in mid-December before settling to around 287K by the quarter's end. The game also saw an impressive spike in weekly active users, reaching over 3.4M in the week of December 18th. Revenue trends showed a notable increase, with the game earning approximately $38K in the week leading up to Christmas.

Another title that captured the attention of gamers was Specimen Zero - Online horror by Café Studio Games. While its revenue remained modest, peaking at $562 in the final week of December, the game experienced a steady climb in downloads, culminating in 190K during the same period. Weekly active users mirrored this growth, reaching over 527K at the end of December.

Z & K Games' Scary Teacher 3D showed resilience throughout the quarter. Despite a mid-quarter dip in downloads, the game rallied to end with nearly 194K downloads. Active users also saw an upward trajectory, with the count increasing to over 1.1M by December 25th. The revenue for the game modestly increased over the quarter, ending at $219.

The family-friendly PAW Patrol Rescue World by Budge Studios experienced a varied quarter. After an initial high of 241K downloads in late September, the figures dropped but then partially recovered to 114K by the year's end. Active users followed a similar pattern, with a noticeable dip in October, then stabilizing at around 395K. The game's revenue also fluctuated, finishing the quarter with $1.2K in the last week.

Lastly, Granny 3 from DVloper, despite generating no revenue, saw consistent engagement from players. Downloads for the game increased towards the end of the quarter, reaching a peak of 159K. Active users showed healthy growth, with an end-of-quarter high of 484K.
